This bi-annual Program is provided at no-charge to municipal residents. Residents will be responsible to place their large items on the FRONT street by the curb (not on grass or boulevard) the evening prior to the municipality’s date as listed above. Items should be placed at least 3 feet (1 meter) away from parked vehicles.

Freon products such as freezers, fridges, water coolers, etc. must be identified with a BMS sticker in order to be collected. Residents are required to pay $25 per item with Freon, at either the Village Office or at the BMS Office in order to obtain their sticker. Once payment has been made, a sticker will be provided that needs to be placed either on the front or side of the appliance.
Acceptable Items: mattresses, sofas, recliners, white goods & appliances, tires and propane tanks
Unacceptable Items: The following items are not accepted as part of the Large Item Pick-Up Program.
Grass clippings, trees, tree branches – can be taken to any of the Transfer Stations or the public drop off area at Ryley. Large chunks of cement/concrete – must be taken to the landfill. Bags of garbage – can be placed in your neighborhood waste bin. Small items that would fit in your neighborhood waste bin.
Electronic waste – can be taken to Viking, Tofield and Lindbrook Transfer Stations or the public drop off area at Ryley year-round.
