Police protection in the urban communities and within rural Beaver County are delivered by the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) located in Tofield Alberta. The Tofield Detachment Commander (Sergeant Lee Knelsen) would like to hear from local community members in the Tofield Detachment area who may have any comments and/or concerns about policing issues in the following geographic areas: Lindbrook, Tofield, Ryley, Dodds, Holden, Shonts, Poe, Bardo, Haight, and areas of Beaver County who have policing services provided by the Tofield RCMP Detachment. Normally, RCMP Town Hall Meetings would have been held in local community halls; however, due to the current state of the Covid 19 pandemic, this was not possible, and these meetings have moved to a virtual format.
As a result, for a three-week period from Monday November 9, 2020 until Monday November 30, 2020, Sgt. Knelsen will be accepting input from community members through a FREE, on-line and anonymous survey (link provided below) which can be accessed via most electronic devices including cell phones, tablets and computers. This link will also be supplied on the above mentioned communities’ web pages and local social media to access. If you would like to have the survey offered in French, please reach out to the Tofield RCMP Detachment:
Tofield RCMP, 5519 49 Street; P.O. Box 540, Tofield AB T0B 4J0,

Knelsen would like to thank everyone in advance for taking the time to work with him to become involved and identify community concerns during this challenging time.
